Courtney Lynn & Quinn, an Americana duo based in Wilmington, N.C., features married frontwomen Courtney Lynn Russell and Quinn Russell. They began their musical journeys separately in Charlotte, N.C.—Courtney with her indie-folk style and Quinn with her soulful voice. As they started performing together at open mics and songwriter nights, their musical chemistry became evident, leading them to form a duo in 2018.
Their debut EP, Remiss, came out in 2020, and they have continued to create and release music since. Their sound blends Courtney's folk influences with Quinn’s soulful touch, often drawing inspiration from artists like Brandi Carlile. Their songs tackle themes such as navigating toxic relationships and celebrating love.
Whether performing for small crowds or large audiences, Courtney Lynn & Quinn deliver energetic shows, mixing heartfelt songs with personal stories and playful marital banter. Their live performances reflect their genuine connection and commitment to their craft.
Courtney Lynn & Quinn are grateful for their many accomplishments over the years including their interview with NPR’s Amplifier Podcast and being featured in many regional publications for their live performances and recorded music. They have performed on NBC’s Charlotte Today and were winners of the national Songwriter Universe contest for "Best Song of the Month" for their original music.
